Outdoor cooking Area
« Reply #-1 on: January 18, 2016, 10:21:00 PM »
My sitting, cooking deck at hunt camp is taking shape ( still a work in progress).
The deck is built, I've got lighting, hot & cold water, a sink & work table .
Using an old patio set for sitting.
So far just got an old gas grill & a 30 gallon drum smoker. Have a 2 burner camp chef explorer that fits next to the sink ( we were using to cook fish at the skinning rack)
Have a fire pit built .
Have partiall cleared out the trees between the deck & the lake.
Leaving the big trees & the hickory I'll cut as I need the wood.( cabin surrounded by a hickory grove)
Bringing my old 22 in Weber kettle as my charcoal grill.
Few pics

Front view of cabin , drum smoker stored under awning, moved to fire pit for cooking.

Deck is 12 ft X 16 ft bigger than cabin!

Old Vermont Castings grill , use as my oven , cooks pretty good biscuits.
4 ft X 2 ft outdoor utility table set for a standing work height.
Laundry room utility sink
In background I use the old horse barn as a storage shed

Fire pit made from concrete blocks

30 watt outdoor LED flood light, plug in so didn't have fo wire

Knife Rack

View from the deck , still some more thinning will be done

I like it!  Be careful.  If you make your hunting camp too nice and comfortable, you won't want to leave.
