I have the Masterbuilt 40 electric smokehouse, too.  I'm a bit intimidated by it...maybe you can share some good ideas.
Just dreamin' about the RecTec right now.

I like my MB40 a lot especially for the big cooks such as when I do 6-7 pork butts for the job or family functions. Looking forward to the Rec Tec pellet smoker though.
