Hello everyone,
Quick introduction: I'm a forty-something Belgian guy who moved to Ecuador a few years ago. recently the BBQ/grilling bug has bitten me and I want to take it to the next level. at the moment I only have access to a simple charcoal direct heat setup. But I'm looking for a kettle so I can start cooking a little more refined and use indirect heat.
Grilling is a big thing here in Ecuador, but most people like there meat well done. If you serve them something rare / medium-rare they look at you as if you want to poison them. so I see it as my task to convert them.
I hope to learn a lot in the forum, and giving my complete newbie status that won't be difficult.

something you see a lot here in Ecuador: Guinnea pig, in Belgium they are pets, here they're just food
