I thought about these collards earlier, didn't have any but did have some fresh field peas so I made them with conecuh , onions,  potatoes,mushrooms and yellow peppers sautéed in the pan first...  I made a pan of cornbread half fine and half coarse grind to go with them.
 Was mighty mighty.

You've been an Honorary GRITS ever since those biscuits and gravy! But now we are thinking about checking your DNA... ;D
