Been lurking guys, sorry. Haven't had a ton of time for cooking. Today all the moons lined up and I found myself with a free afternoon. Had some beef ribs I bought, let's give them a try. Rubbed with John Henry brisket rub
Onto the Mak at 245 for just over an hour. In the meantime I made up my braising liquid. Sweated some onions
Added minced garlic and smoked paprika
Added an unmeasured amount of this stuff
Brought to a boil and simmered
Added it all to the ribs
Covered with foil and let ride at 275 for 2 1/2 hours. Removed from pan straight on to the grill and sauced with maple chipotle sauce for 20 mins and pulled.
Served up with some smoked beans I had on during the cook
I need to make more time to cook. The ribs were fantastic!
