I finally got to talk to the store owner today about how he liked cooking on the Blaze. He said he was very impressed with how well it held temps, how well it dials in temps, and how little lump it takes to use it. He also said that he might like it a little more than his KJ which is saying a lot.
I was there taking a chicken class and the teacher used three different cookers during the class. He used a KJ, a Weber Summit, and a Gateway Drum. It was neat seeing all of them in action. The owners of the store were also cooking a couple of tri-tips on the Blaze Kamado.
It was a fun day and I learned some things in the process.
