Winter tires

Some of you live in areas that see lots of snow.  What brands of tires have you tried for winter?  And what did you like/dislike about what you have tried?

I know nothing, I see nothing, I hear nothing.

We used Firestones winter tire the two winters we were in the mountains. Sheriffs would still make us chain up the front tires.

Black Ice does not care what kind of tires you are using.......evil stuff...............

I miss the 80's and having bald tires on a giant rear wheel drive car in Minnesota. Now that was fun!
