Teesquare's Southwest trip UPDATED 5-06-18
« Reply #-1 on: April 24, 2018, 04:18:32 PM »
Tee has been sending me a few photos of their trip and wanted me to post them here so you can follow along with them.
As he sends me more photos I will be updating it here.

This first one is especially for RG and his cafe road trips!  ;) Cafe is the Suburban Phoenix in Peoria, AZ.

Some SW Cuisine: Chili Rellanos. These are fantastic. Big Hatch green chili peppers - filled with jack cheese, then a nice egg batter dip, rolled in flour - then fried. Topped with lots of salsa and other veggies and served with a side of pinto beans a rice.

Monument Valley and John Wayne's Cabin:

More to come!

You still have time to make it the PERFECT road trip by joining, LA, IR2dum, and me in New Orleans next week. It's already started - SWMBO and I got in yesterday in time for oysters at Luke.

Just sayin'...

Thanks for posting these pics, Mike.  Tim sent me some as well, but I'm so busy with the new job I started this week...

You know...I would LOVE to do that.....I am sure you remember my act of gluttony committed on those awesome Gulf oysters.....
And had I planned the trip routing better....I could . But I done screwed up~ :-X

The early part of this trip Tim and Kaye was in Waco. Wendy and I came up from Marlin and had a good Mexican supper with them. Wendy and Kaye hit it off and Tim is one of the good ones :)

We are looking forward to having them over to the house for lots of red meat and adult beverages :)

Oh, Tim and Kaye also got to meet someone that we all know and love  ;)   ........and Kaye almost ran off with him  :)  :)
