Yes, what a great reminder; pellet grills are awesome for baking deserts!  The light kiss of smoke you get at baking temperatures wakes up pretty much any baked desert you can think of.


Here are just a few pics of desserts baked on our pellet grills over the years:

Apple Crisp


Peach Melba Crisp (peach with raspberry)


Fruit Compotes (strawberry/peach & strawberry/rhubarb/pineapple) with Shortbread Biscuits


Pineapple upside-down cake (smoke the toppings a bit before you add the cake batter).



Oh yeah and don't forget Sweet Potato Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Cheesecake (or in this case a layered Pumpkin Pie/Cheesecake  8))!  You have not tasted the best a cheesecake can be until you've baked one on a pellet grill!
