Just a quick set of ribs for Sunday
« Reply #-1 on: February 17, 2013, 09:59:04 PM »
Kimmie and I have been working in the house all day so we decided to do ribs tonight for dinner.  I did two racks one for us and one for her sister.

The ribs were cooked dry then I added a sauce from the drippings to my ribs cause Kimmie likes hers dry

The SRG makes some good ribs!  But to be honest TBE I had did a better job.  I gave my TBE to my sister and wished I had it back! :'( :'(       The reason the  TBE made such good ribs is the BTU's of my old unit was 18000 where the newer version is 16000.  The chamber size in TBE was 12 inch's but it's BTU output was the same as the SRG's!

But for the money the SRG is very hard toe beat

I kicked up the temp on my 25lb unit to around 23,000 BTU's if I did the math right.  ???      That sucker will roast arm hair in seconds. Don't ask me how I figured that out  :D :D
