Like sparky said..if your family loved them then you done good!
Just take that recipe and technique and try on ribs from different sources. Spares taste different than baby backs IMO.

Chicken and ribs is a great combo.  I've got a rack of ribs in right now and I'm about to throw a chicken in in about 10 min.
