The reason I am on the site so often lately is I have been home taking care of my wife since the middle of March.

While I was away at work she had a seizure and temporary lost her right side. Thank God she works at a hospital and was rushed to emergency. What was found was a 3cm brain tumor. We have seen 3 surgeons and the back and forth and they decided to do Gamma Knife (Radiation). This is due to the location of the tumor and difficulty to do actual surgery.

We have been bumped twice because of folks with more serious tumors.  There are only 3 locations in Canada to have Gamma Knife thankfully this is only 2 hrs. away
Surgery is slated for the 12th if all goes well.

My Wife and I just want to get back to normal lifestyle.

My uncle had a brain tumor that they could not remove with surgery. He had radiation therapy that was state of the art at the time. It may have been the same procedure your wife is going to have. It has been close to 10 years since and his tumor has not returned.

It is amazing what science can do. My family will be praying for her quick recovery....

We will keep you and your wife in our prayers, it can make a difference. Hopefully she will have a full and quick recovery after the surgery.

My wife's name is also Lana. She suffered a stroke on May 25th and is now at home recovering. It is going to be a long process but we are seeing a little progress each day. Like you, we are just wanting out lives back to normal.

Will be praying for a speedy and full recovery for your wife.

There are no words that can properly explain how hard this is on you I am sure.  Thank you for sharing, and please know that we are all here for you.  Lana and you are most definitely in my prayers.  Be strong for her and for yourself.

The power of prayer is awesome.  I know there are lots of prayers being said for Lana.  I will continue to pray for her recovery.
