Hello from Wayne, Pennsylvania
« Reply #-1 on: August 22, 2013, 10:53:41 AM »
Hi everyone, I'm a new member from right outside Philadelphia.   I'm a BBQ fanatic, but unfortunately not skilled yet at making consistently good chow.  I love pulled pork and brisket, and cook on both my Weber gas grill and my Weber kettle.     On the kettle I use a Smokenator with various degrees of success, but I recently read about the snake method of low and slow and am looking forward to trying it out!!!

I'm looking forward to being part of this group.

Tom

WELCOME!
Tom it is good to have you. And - as you may have noticed, we have no  prejudice against any kind of cooker. If it is what you like - and it works for you - great!
We also have a lot of Weber owners ( myself included) so you will find a good amount of info and recipes that should work for you without "adapting" to a different cooker.

Looking forward to your input!

Howdy from Southern California Tom.  Our good buddy Sparky did an amazing fuse burn on his Weber last week. Got a super long burn time and a good lo temp as well.

He will be on shortly to fill ya in on it.

Another welcome from Minnesota. Sparky's probably forgotten more about Webers than most anyone else knows.
