New from Houston, TX
« Reply #-1 on: August 23, 2013, 11:09:09 PM »
Hi.  I'm from the Houston, TX area, and I just joined the forum after buying a Pit Barrel Cooker.  I've owned a few kettle style grills (low-end grills from Wal-Mart; no Weber) and a budget offset grill.  I BBQed or grilled about every other day on the offset, but when a weld failed after a year and the company wouldn't replace a $20 part for free, I decided to buy a better BBQ machine -- I'm hoping that is the PBC.  I still have lots to learn, and that's why I'm here.  Thanks.

Welcome from North Carolina.  You will love your PBC.  The best chicken wings I have ever cooked came off my PBC.  When I am doing wings, my wife says "you are using the PBC, right?"  Yes, dear.

Oh yeah, the PBC is good for all things BBQ.
