Howdy from a Texas Infrared junkie
« Reply #-1 on: June 17, 2014, 10:38:15 PM »
I am J.B. and I am addicted to all forms of outdoor cooking. My favorite weapon is my Charbroil Big Easy Smoker-Roaster-Grill. Know from the old Charbroil forums as an SRG. For parties I grill on a Charbroil 4 burner Red. My low and slow comes out of a heavily modified Masterbuilt Pro. I place myself at the serious hobbiest level. Not sure where to set up shop on here as my equipment is not traditionial. The now closed Charbroil forum was very dedicated to infra-red cooking. And as a propane smoker using wood chunks I am not a purist there either. However I grill and BBQ so I will find a niche.

J.B.,  You'll love it here.  Good folks.  Some crazy.  Some just semi-crazy.  All love outdoor cooking.  Dee

Here's another Buckeye State welcome!

We have more than a handful of SRG users here, and many who cook on gassers, so you oughta fit in just fine.

From just about 12 miles South of San Antonio. Ans I see SRGs in a lot of arsenals. Makes me grin.

It is a fine tool to have...I have a 12 qt. tall pot that fits ingot he basket nicely - and it was what we used last Sat. to warm up vacuum packed food to hand out over 1000 samples..

The SRG is a very versatile cooker.
