SRG frenchfries,anyone done them?

Curious,ever made on the grill?

Would someone be willing to try some with a light oil spray and let me know if it can make a crunchy fry?

I would think that you would be more successful by rolling them in a blend of corn starch and four. Then shake off all of the excess - and proceed.
The infrared grill work best if the surface is dy, i.e. crispy chicken skin is easier to achieve if it is DRY.
BBQ is neither verb or noun. It is an experience.

Frozen fries with a light coating of oil might be a cheap and easy test.

Frozen fries work well in the SRG, mad a few batches along with onion rings.  Just use Pam spray or an oil mister and put a lite coat of oil on them cook on high setting top fries will be done first then the middle section then the bottom.  So put most on the top and the middle of the cooking rack

I am curious...not to argue the point - but to really learn:

Why do we believe that dry chicken skin will crisp better than oiled....but oiled french fries will crisp up better than ???  ::) ??? 8) :D

But dry skin is removing the water/moister not oil.  Oiled skin will crisp (remember gathering 2012's turkey I made)
I did fries without oil and they burned on the tips before they were done where oil fries worked better

NOW, asking me to give you the scientific reason why.  If I knew I wouldn't be turning wrenches to make  living    ;)
