I tried to find one yesterday to no avail. It seems that maybe my area will not get them. I think I'll survive though
It seems pretty amazing to me that a worldwide franchise like McDonald's has different menus in different states and different areas. I survive on Hot and Spicy McChicken sandwiches in Texas, but I usually can't get them outside Texas. I like them because they are on the dollar menu. I think Turtle goes down to his local McDonald's and orders fish soup and rice, but you can't get that here in Texas (not that I would ever order that...yuuk). And, to keep this rant going, you can order two Big Mac's or either two Quarter Pounders with cheese for $5 in Texas, but I haven't found that deal in any other state. Bummer. At Grand Canyon Village in Tusayan, AZ, a Big Mac sandwich is about $12 or about 3 times what it is all over America. OK, I'm through venting and I feel much better.
At least I can get a McRib if I want one. Smoke, come on down and we'll go get a couple.
