Anybody have any recommends on a good air fryer to get? I will mostly use it for fish and chips and probably kids food like chicken nuggets and tater tots, etc.

they are basically the same unless you go for the bigger ones with oven and dehydrators, etc..I found that if you have left over french fires and fried foods, they are the best for reheating..just like it was fresh made, my 8 year old just loves them that way. I make biscuits and cinnamon rolls, the trick is to lower temp to about 330º and cook a lil longer to get centers done, about 6 -7 minutes and they are perfect. Lots of trick to using it but info is everywhere.  I have a Cook's Essential from qvc.  Good luck.    .☆´¯`•.¸¸. ི♥ྀ.

Does anybody have any experience with cuisinart air fryer

I have had the Cusinart for a few years now.  We like the versatility of a toaster oven.  Don't use it for toast but it's great for reheating.  Air fryer function works well.  It's not real accurate as far as the temp and timer, uses analog controls.  I'd recommend the newer digital version of it.  Check out this section for air fryer posts, look for bamabob

Looking forward to your review.  I do like what I saw in an infomercial for the Emeril fryer.

I was reading the owners' manual.  It says–
"• Clean the air fryer basket with a sponge or cloth and warm water and dish soap, then rinse well. Ensure that all grease and food debris are removed.
"• DO NOT immerse the basket in water or any other liquid.
"• DO NOT machine wash the basket."

I wonder why.

The DO NOTs are the way I'd prefer to clean the basket.

Yeah not sure why it says that, I scrub with soap and rinse with water. It cleans up pretty easy and fast.

Like Bamabob, I went with the Cuisinart.  Mainly because of the smaller footprint due the three-in-one functionality.

Looking forward to seeing what you're cooking.
