As some of you know Mama loves the ribs from the Sizzler restaurant and I have been coming close with mine but no cigar.................until Today!!!!!! :D
Used Kosmo's Q pig soak for -4- hours on some Farmer John St.Louis style ribs.
Made my own rub( well I mixed -3- rubs together but I still made it :P)
Used Beechnut for smoke and did em for -6- hours at 220 deegreees! Last half hour I moped em with Whiskey Smugglers BBQ sauce.
Mama says these were just as good but not better so I got some work to do...might have to have Smoochy help me with the next batch 8) 8)

Now that's what I'd call good looking ribs

You'll get 'em better than Sizzler ribs I'm willing to bet. Then you'll have BBQ sauce all over your face from that big kiss Mama's gonna give you!

Great looking ribs there Smoke........I know they had to be so good
-
smokea, That technique of mixing different rubs is the same as Old Dave has used to win some competitions. Dee
-
smoke, those ribs look delicious. Nice bark.
-
I didn't know that Sizzler was the benchmark for ribs. I may have to head over there and try some.
