Post by: Big Dawg on September 27, 2015, 02:44:39 PM
In the never ending battle for Truth, Justice, and the American Way . . . .

Added a Cyber-Q about a month ago.

Then got the Cajun Bandit door.

Added the Unknown BBQ Hinge this afternoon.

The only problem with the hinge is that it kinda hurts your heart to drill the Weber........I have one my 22.5 and it is real nice.....I didn't know they made one for the WSM...... :)

I haven't cooked with it yet, but it works beautifully.  It takes enough of the weight so that lifting the lid with one hand is a breeze.

Now I plan to mount the cooker temperature probe for the Cyber-Q in the lid.  As you probably know, depending on where you put the probe on the top grate, you can get wildly different temps.  I've seen up to a 40ยบ difference using one probe in the middle and another one closer to the edge.

Also, on the left side, you can see where I've added handles that allow me to mount one of the Weber Side Tables (http://virtualweberbullet.com/table_photos/tablebox.jpg).

Hey Smoke,  I got over that a looong time ago.

First I added the two handles near the top of the center section to make it easier to lift and move that section.  Then I added the tool hooks on the right hand side of the picture.  The additional handles in the middle of the left side are for the Weber Side Table (http://virtualweberbullet.com/table_photos/tablebox.jpg).

I'm even thinking of adding a couple of the these (http://www.thetoggleclampstore.com/431.html) to hold the barrel to to the bottom section, to make it more stable when moving it back and forth to competitions.

Each time it just gets a little easier ! ! !
