We wanted something different this year for Christmas Eve dinner and this is what I came up with
Italian sausage,onions peppers and bathed in apple beer.
was going to add Amberbock to the cook but found I didn't need it. The apple beer gave it enough flavor
Added wood pellets to the SRG grate so I could get some smoke flavor before I laid the sausage in the onions and peppers
set temp to 325 and added an A-Maze-N smoker tube for extra flavor
After 2 hrs on the Rec Tec this is what I ended up with
