Built a case for my Fireboard 2
« Reply #-1 on: November 05, 2021, 09:46:28 PM »
On other forums I saw a number of posts about people making cases for their Fireboard controllers so I decided to make one for mine.
  Below are pics,
The case

So basically I can run the controller from the case. You connect the probes to the 6 cable glands on the left, connect the fan to the last cable gland. You can either connect the battery pack power cable to gland or just run the Fireboard off the battery pack. The battery pack is stored under the Fireboard

 Here is the parts list:
1. Apache 3800 case available from Harbor Freight, Amazon and others.
2. Fireboard Battery pack
3. Probe extensions from FireBoard
4. Fan from Fireboard
5. Fireboard 2 Drive
6. Cable Glands for the probe extensions and fan cable extension https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y5HXP2H?psc=1...
7. Extension cable for the fan https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081TX6HB6?psc=1...
8. Waterproof Extension cable to connect to Battery Charger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08169ZB5C?psc=1...
9. Cable from Battery Pack to Fireboard https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CZVEUIE?psc=1...
