Pour hot coals in and pull the can out. Coals burn from the middle outward and can make for long temps.

I put the can on the middle of my charcoal ring and fill charcoal around can.  I light my little chimney with about twenty hot coals and dump them in the coffee can.  I use pliers to pull the can out.  Waa laa, perfect fire.

Me too rick.  It's back to the basics with the WSM.  It's just raw smoking.  I love it.
