Saturday Evening Mushroom Burgers
« Reply #-1 on: May 24, 2014, 07:09:55 PM »
We wanted something quick for dinner tonight so we threw together some ground beef, chopped up portabella mushrooms
and onion, then seasoned with A-1 Cracked pepper. I am also grilling my last package of Hot and Spicy Conecuh sausage.

Put onto the Weber Performer using a mixture of KBB and RO Lump charcoal.  I used one small chunk of oak. I am also using
my grill grates tonight.

At the flip!

Burgers and sausage are done.

Plated with some boxed pasta salad.  I used a sliced of Colby jack cheese, onion, tomato and Texas Pete Sriracha Cha! on my
burger. Served on our finest china!  ;)

A simple, quick and deliciously spicy dinner!

Looks awesome Mike!

I have not tried the Texas Pete Sriacha...is it good? Same as regular - or different in some way?

That looks really good. Had never thought of adding mushrooms to the meat. Good idea!

It is pretty good tee. Not as spicy as the original Rooster, but it works. I had never seen it before
and the coupon queen (my wife Bev) went shopping and just happen to have a coupon for it so
I got to try it.  ;)
