Looks fantastic!
Made in cast iron in the oven?
-
Looks great but the same question here. How did she do it?
-
What was the cast iron pan? I have a cast iron pizza pan but I don't think it's that deep.
-
That looks delicious. Hats off to your wife!

Thanks y'all! For the toppings I used chicken breast, thick cut bacon and red onion. And of course BBQ sauce. It was cooked in the oven in a regular cast iron pan. I had a nine inch I was gonna use but it didn't seem big enough. (There's a joke in there somewhere) I ended up using one that was about 11 inches. It's a King Arthur recipe. Here's the link.

I just measured mine and it's a thick 14 incher. ;D ;D ;D ;)

That might be a little too big but have fun with it :D

Don't forget the jalapenos!

Okay, important question..... did you remove the pie from the cast iron pan right away or leave it until it cooled a bit? Seems it could continue to baked(over bake)in the cast iron pan.
I do have a bigger cast iron pan that it would be difficult to remove a pie from. I'll get pics of it later today.
And yes Jason, definitely sliced jalapenos! I love 'em!!!
