Made a griddle upgrade over the weekend. I had been eyeing a Cuisinart 360 or 360XL to replace my Blackstone 22". Have had the Blackstone for over 2 years and wanted to upgrade. Got a deal on it when I bought it and really didn't want to go big at the time as I wasn't 100% sure I would like it but I did and felt it was time to upgrade.
This is what the Blackstone looks like today but I will give it a good cleaning and sell it. Really not as bad as it looks in the picture but it is dusty.

So, I was perusing the Facebook Marketplace last week and came across an ad for a brand new Weber 28" Griddle which normally sells for $449.00-$549.00. Guy was asking $250.00 after lowering it from $275.00. I offered him $200.00 and he accepted but wanted tax also. Turns out it's a business that he has with a storefront. So I offered $210.00 cash out the door and he agreed. Picked it up Saturday afternoon and put it together Sunday morning. I couldn't be happier for the price!

Just need to season the griddle, maybe later today. Very well made!
Oh, and yes I did get a cover for this one to help keep it cleaner. Also added a single propane burner for when I need a burner to cook something outside. I'll get pictures of that when it arrives.

I am a recent griddle enthusiast. Didn't have room for a complete new grill, so I just bought a griddle half plate that fits on top of my gas grill grates. Works very well, and I just take it off when I don't use it or want the full grill use.

Please review and compare to the blackstone. I would love a flattop, and my wife is all for it too. I currently have an indoor griddle for pancakes, and use the underside of grill grates for burgers but would love to have a flattop and griddle being used at the same time.

Cool tool!
I think you could cook up a pretty good breakfast on that for me, IR2dum, and Lost Arrow sometime during JazzFest next year (not to mention taking it to Alabama and adding it to the cooker collection for the Spring Gathering at Bommarosa).
Jus' sayin'...

I hope to get it seasoned today and we'll see what's for dinner this evening.

Alright, so yesterday I seasoned the griddle. Actually did it like six times after scrubbing it with warm soapy water. I think that's the secret to getting a nice uniform seasoning.
I had planned to do burgers this evening so yesterday I used 3 cans of Hormel chili with beans to make chili cheese with Mexican rice griddled burritos. They came out awesome!

These will definitely be done again soon!

Well, I cooked 6 burgers on the Weber griddle this evening. # were 88/12 beef and 3 were Wagyu. They cooked so fast I forgot to get pictures. I put them on the griddle, ran inside to bring in a dirty dish and came back out flipped 'em and in no time they were done. Having a this griddle makes for faster cooking for sure.
Here of a couple of pictures of the burger I had. A wagyu which was amazing!!!

I've done so many smash burgers on my old griddle I can't even guess how many.

So tell us your "smash" secrets! I always seem to struggle with trying to make more than two at a time. Gets problematic if whole family is over and I need to make 8 or 10 and you don't want to have burgers not piping hot.

Me, too. Jaxon gave me his small griddle after he bought the big Blackstone.

Nice looking griddle!

I love my 22" Blackstone and am working on perfecting potatoes. I preboil them about half way done. This way I can shred or slice or however I want. I use combination of oil, then add butter. I like mine real crispy. No one doesn't like potatoes.
Smash burgers with thin sliced onions and butter work for me too.
