The View From My Office Today

Well actually from my boat on one of the lakes not far from me. Nice day thought I would go fishing.





Someone keeping a sharp eye on me.





Someone looking for a free lunch


No Walleye this time out, just three small pike. Thought I would keep them and try smoking them just for the heck of it. I generally don't keep pike unless they are in the 30 pound range. These small ones are a pain in the butt to clean. You really need to take your time to get the Y-bones out. Used to do it no problem when I was younger but now the old fingers don't move like they used to  ::)



Got all done and bagged with Soy Vay Veri Veri Teriyaki Sauce over night. Will smoke them tomorrow.
