What camera and lens did you use?

Sort of a photography buff myself. I am assuming you used a tripod.

Most of my fun stuff I shoot  is underwater.

I'm a  photography BOOB  :D
Just trying to learn a enough to justify my Nikon D5100 DSLR. I just recently bought a Tamron 16-300mm Lens. Yes I had the tri-pod out for that shot. Used the p setting with auto bracketing. (3 different exposures). Once run through some software this is what you get. One thing I have learned with auto bracketing is to keep 2 different memory cards, one for regular pictures and one for the bracketing or you will get mixed up with some shots.  ::)

Cool photo. I was walking the dogs before work yesterday (6 AM or so), and after seeing your post, the moon looked great as your photo showed. With very little time, I got the impulse to run in and get my old Olympus (E-500). Luckily the battery had some charge, so quickly put on a 300 mm lens that I haven't used in a long time and shot a few photos to see what I could do. Yours is much better, but I had some fun doing it. Thanks for the idea to get me to do it!

Mike
