With the temperature at -7F It's Chili Night!
« Reply #-1 on: January 08, 2015, 09:53:53 AM »
When we got home from work last night it was minus 7F!  SWMBO wanted chili. So chili it was, made in pressure cooker with beef and pork, onions, garlic, 2 different dried chilis, a jalapeno, and a can of chipotle peps in adobo sauce. It was hot but did warm us up nicely! Served with 2 ice cream scoops of Chi Chi's sweet corn cake! It was a great combo, sweet and hot!

That's a good looking bowlful of chili, especially since we're in negative degree temperatures here today as well.

Very nice looking bowl of chili. Since it's double digits below zero here, this is a good idea! Thanks.

Dang Tommy, I didn't think it got that cold in Bama.  We were 19 a couple of weeks ago when we got a foot of snow but now we are back in the mid 40's....stay warm my friend....
