No training whatsoever. That's probably why I have issues with recipes. I don't have any. Every kitchen trip is like an episode of chopped.
LOL! Good analogy! When I first made a pot of brisket chili that I
really liked, I just put a little of this and a little of that in there. When I had to go back and make it, it was a pain to remember what all I put in there and the amounts. So I ended up making it and actually measuring how much of each thing and writing it down so I could reproduce it. Much easier when you just wing it I say
