Another good video Tom.  Make sure your sensor is not to close to the wall or it will not work correctly.

Ok, Rec Tec sensor or my own?  The I grill I used was just to the right of the rec Tec probe.

 Good video Tom! With my Traeger, the sensor is located the same location as the Rec Tec. I have had 3 different controllers over 5 years. I monitor my grill level temps in the center with a Maverick probe and with all 3 controllers my grill level temps were 20 to 30 deg. hotter. I find that ambient temps will effect this as well as wind. Don

Yup,  it was a half inch from the side,  loosened up the screw and swiveled it out to an inch. Thanks for the advice.
