Blaz'n Grillworks Powdercoat Issues
« Reply #-1 on: November 11, 2016, 07:10:31 PM »
Has anyone else experienced issues like this? The burn pot issue was immediately after the 30 minute initial burn in. The rest is from about 5 cooks.  It is horrible and no reason it should be doing this.  Clearly the parts weren't prepped properly before powder coating.

I have had my Grand Slam for nearly two years and have not noticed the same issue on mine.  I would certainly give them a call - their service seems to be excellent.  The only issue I had was the meat probe stopped working and they promptly sent me another one free of charge.  Their only request was that I send back the faulty one so they could see what the issue was.

Good Luck!

I have had my Grid Iron for 3 years and never had this type of problem. A little bit of the powder coat were off right below the front of the lid. I just scraped it off, primed it and repainted. But nothing as bad as what you have. I would contact Tim Mickey. Just to be safe email him the photos so he can see what you are talking about.
