There was a Publix in Jonesboro, GA that closed because they lost so much to shoplifting.  Same for the Ingles.  All that's left is the Kroger and it's a loss leader store for that side of Atlanta.

Not if it's a high theft item in that store.   It's not Walmart...  It's the people who don't want to pay for what they want. My wife has worked for Walmart for 20 plus years. You'd be surprised how many people get caught shoving meat products down their pants!
