Tried Detroit Style Pizza
« Reply #-1 on: March 05, 2020, 10:54:33 PM »
I thought I would try it (thanks for the recipe Steph)

I did a little different in that I put slices of cheese up against the sides. As i was assembling it I realized that somehow I misplaced the package of pepperoni that I bought (or at least thought I bought). So I used slices of Italian sausage.
Here it is all assembled.

All done and out of the pan. My picture taking ability doesn't do it justice.

A slice

It tasted very good. It wasn't bad for my first attempt. Lessons learned: I didn't cook it long enough so the crust wasn't done as well as it could have been.
Will try it again.

Why couldn't Noah have swatted the 2 mosquitoes?.

Looks good to me Gus! One thing that Stephanie did was par bake the crust for about 3-5 minutes and then put the toppings and sauce on. She read that was a "hack" to ensure a done crust. I guess she didn't share that info on her post lol!
