Spatchcocked Chicken
« Reply #-1 on: May 27, 2020, 07:53:54 PM »
My wife bought me a new pellet grill for an early Father's Day present. We took a road trip to Augusta, GA on Memorial Day and
came home with this:

We decided to continue breaking it in with chicken for dinner tonight. I previously cooked bacon, hash brown patties and burgers
on it for the first cook (no photos).

Rest time before dinner! The one on the left was seasoned with Kosmos Honey Chipotle and the one on the right was Kosmos
Honey Killer Bee.

Perfect light smoke flavor, which we prefer, juicy with crispy skin.

I will be doing a full review on this smoker as soon as I have a few more cooks on it.

Oh I almost forgot I will also be doing a full review on the other cooker I bought for myself in Augusta. The new Bullseye!

The Bullseye is not yet available on line, but if you go there in person there is a good chance that they have a few more in their
warehouse. I mentioned I would be back when it was in stock and the rest is history. I thought I would be downsizing my grills,
but life happens and I am not getting any younger.  8)

Mike,
The chicken looks fantastic.  The new grill looks great, too.

Only way to do chicken. Look forward to the reviews. I hear Rec Tec ads on national radio. They really have grown

Nice looking chickens, and nice looking equipment. I think my next purchase will be a Blackstone griddle. Same thing here Pappy, I've been hearing Rec-Tec ads also.

Griddles are really fun. I have a BS and a Camp Chef. Can cook up a lot of grub in a hurry
