Tonight's Uuni Cook
« Reply #-1 on: February 07, 2014, 08:42:44 PM »
Made a couple of pizzas on the Uuni tonight.

Got the dough rolled out...

Got some Southeast Smoked crumbled Blue Cheese, onion, BBQ sauce and chicken...

The first pizza was all cheese. The Uuni was way too hot when I put it in. The cheese was returned to it's basic form of carbon in less than 4 minutes ???

After adjusting the fan speed and letting it settle the second pizza came out perfect in 4 minutes...

I had loaded more pellets than normal because it was so cool out I wanted to get it pre heated quicker. I need to remember that sometimes less is more ;)

And surprisingly the burned pizza was still pretty good! :P

Looks delicious, muebe! Your ingredients combinations sounds really good.

I notice that I keep thinking about this unit, and I know that I'll succumb to the temptation one of these days - all I need do is convince the missus  ;D

Looks good; the second one!!! ;D I reheated some pizza for my wife in a carbon steel skillet with a lid and the bottom of the crust looked like your first one. She ate the topping though. Don

Blackened cheese.  That could be a new trend.  Heck, I'd eat it.

When you need welding goggles before peeking into the chamber.

While opening the door the flame rolls out and tries to kiss you.

I started with way too many pellets. That was my mistake.
