Just a little quick dinner of pork chop, Asparagus and homemade beets. Cooked with peach and cherry wood.

Defcon 5 the whole way. Delicious. You can't make chops any juicier.

I'm not much for beets, but everything else looks real good. The chops look like they are perfectly cooked for our taste.
It seems that everyone uses this as a super-heated searing machine. Can it be used for any other style of cookin'?

The fans goes from #1 which is used for fast lighting, up to #5, which we refer to as Defcon 5. You can cook at #2, 3 or 4 for a slower and more smoky cook. I haven't tried that myself yet because I love that crust on the outside of my meat. I'll try the lower speeds over the weekend to see how it fares.
