Title: Cook-Air grilled chicken legs
Post by: muebe on September 07, 2016, 02:42:27 PM
Chicken legs grilled on the Cook-Air and seasoned with Lawry's. Corn was done Sous-Vide in butter. The corn was super juicy!

@183F for 30 minutes. I did them in the husk then peeled them after. Amazed at how juicy the corn is.

When you are jetburning your foiled corn, what setting and time are you doing?

Muebe- do you have a post with all of the settings and times for all the different steak cuts, proteins, and sides you make with the LRC?

I did not grill the corn for this cook. Just strictly Sous Vide for this cook.

Corn I like to grill on 4 for 20 minutes roatating every couple minutes.

I do not have a post like that.

Mike can you cook the corn In a foodsaver bag with out the Sous Vide equipment. just for us that don't have the time or money to get into it.

You could babysit the water temp manually and that should work. It is fantastic for corn

I am sure you could but maintaing the exact temp on the stove could prove to be difficult although exact temp is probably not too critical with corn.

That's what I was thinking.

I've seen a video, and even attempted, cooking steak in a beer cooler. It's a pain to keep in the zone. And with the high temp needed for corn I think simply boiling them would be the easiest way. Corn is roughly 185ish, and boiling water is always 212. Keep it vacume sealed to keep from diluting the flavors. You teally do need a machine for the high temps for corn.
