I just saw Ken passed away Tuesday. I met on the old Char Broil SOTG site way back when. He managed to get to one of the gatherings. We stayed in touch since then on FB and email.
RIP Ken I’m glad I got to meet you ! You will be missed.

I JUST saw the post by his daughter. Saddened to hear of this - Ken was always jovial, and he and I had fun picking at each other. Godspeed Ken...."Mama has lost a great fan, and those of us that knew you, a real friend.

Sorry to hear this

Sorry to hear about Ken. He was well liked by everyone on the forum. Like Terry, I met Ken on the old Sizzle On The Grill forum and met him in person at one of our Gatherings in Augusta. I remember that he drove from Birmingham, AL to meet us in Augusta, GA, but could only stay about 4 hours and drove back home because he was hosting an Alabama Football watch party at his house that night. He was that dedicated to his football team. I'm sure he is having a few drinks and conversations with Bear Bryant right now. Rest in Peace TwoPockets. You will be missed.

Rest in peace Ken.

I have enjoyed Kens posts since the old Sizzle on the Griddle days.
I loved his saying and now use it "I would eat that"
He helped me with info years ago when he worked at Academy on Old Country pits.
I am sure gonna miss him...……………..

So sad to hear Ken passed away :(
I met Ken in the summer of 2010 in B'ham Alabama where he was working for Academy Sports at the time. Kimmie and I were down there doing some shopping (recovering from one of my surgeries) and I ask Ken if we could meet just to say hi face to face. He was all in and we met for a few mins that turned into a long time friendship .
Ken was a great treated Kimmie like he knew her for a long time which made Kimmie feel a lot more comfortable (meeting folks off the internet was not her thing :D ) Anyway, Ken would help anyone out on the forum if they needed advice he would help them.
Like others here I remember Ken driving 4 hrs to be with us but only to say good by a few hours later to head back home because he was not missing an Alabama football party they planned at his house. We met again a few years later while Kimmie and I were camping and Terry (TLG4942) and Kerry along with GusRobin, Albert Rivera and his wife joined us for a great meal and friendship
Ill miss Ken (twopockets) and his great advice he would give out
Rest in peace my friend,

I never got to meet Ken, but I heard a lot about him. My first trip to Augusta was the 2nd get together. That was where I heard about his trip from AL and back again the same day, just for a silly old football game!
