Post by: Keymaster on May 27, 2013, 09:32:50 PM
Well it's be pretty rainy around these parts but if you don't BBQ on Memorial day something else needs more attention :) wife picked up a Tyson chicken which is a brand I never used before, Foster farms is the brand around these parts. I never read instructions but this caught my eye...

Used the mayonnaise the forum has been talking about and I must say it kind of turns it into the Pillsbury dough chicken :)

If the Upper temperature reads 325°F on a primo it is usually 350° F at the grill Level. Sound opposite but true :)

I scooted that chicken all over that grill from indirect to over the flames top and bottom until it reached 165° F Internal temp.

What a great looking cooking area.  Tyson is really big here in the SE.  I think they are based in Arkansas. I have not tried the mayo on chicken.  Maybe able to try it tomorrow.  Dee

Looks excellent Key. I like the mayo over and under the skin. I like to add a lot of seasoning to the mayo, and jam it under the skin. Crazy moist!
