Title: St. Louis Ribs wife style
Post by: Keymaster on June 08, 2013, 09:40:05 PM
Ok, the wife had always counted on me cooking ribs on a gasser in about a hour before I learnt better and got my Primo four years ago. Tonight it was sprung on me I was cooking ribs for dinner at 6 PM (She said she told me earlier but I must have been in the " Yes hun, ok, no problem " Mode. So I am foiling first with fine swine and bovine with a heavy dose of super pig. I was also told The membrane does not come off, OK :) So I will foil cook the ribs for a hour over direct heat then unfoil and cook over direct for a half hour at around 350° F . I know very unconventional but its northwest gasser style :) More to come..

If you had Patent Pending TendaRub they would already be done! And don't worry about pulling the membrane off the TendaRub dissolves it ;)

Plated with corn on the cob and a nice pea and bacon salad.

Pull off the bone goodness, Not my way to make ribs but works in a hurry and not a whole lot of difference besides no smoke...
