Since Fishingbouchman's visit here last year I wanted tro try the Sweet Money Rub on ribs and the Fat Tire beer he brought me.
So yesterday I seasoned some babybacks with Sweet Money and let them rest over night in the fridge. Today I tossed Them on the smoker at 220°F with hickory and cherry wood for 2,5 hours.

After that they were foiled with some liquid butter, brown sugar, honey, and a bit bourbon. After 2,5 hours more I tried the first Fat Tire. The ribs were then seasoned with a layer of Happy Ending as finishing rub. The liquid out of the aluminum foil packs were mixed with some BBQ sauce to glace the ribs twice all 20 minutes.

After that the ribs were plated with baked beans and cole slaw - and another Fat Tire.

The ribs were tasty, but I like Fine Swine & Bovine more as a rub. I liked the Fat Tire, too, but if you're used to drink Pils, you can't drink too much of it. ;)
