You asked for them
« Reply #-1 on: July 30, 2014, 08:38:28 AM »
Here's a few pictures of some of the first cooks off my Big Joe.

Aged ribeyes were hot and fast about 750 degrees

Than a couple of 700 degree calzones

A few riblets low and slow.  Grill Grates well seasoned, check.

nicely done.  everything looks great.  tell me about the calzones?  i love that you can stuff anything in a calzone.  i have found making pizza dough isn't easy to get it right.

All looks great. Those are some well seasoned Grill Grates! Love the calzones - what did you fill them with?

It was only my second attempt at making my own dough.  I gave up on it a couple of years ago and decided I was going to make it work.  Followed a simple pizza a dough recipe off the internet that had honey in it and used corn meal on counter and it turned out great.
