Campfire Breakfast Burritos in a Dutch Oven
« Reply #-1 on: July 30, 2014, 06:23:40 PM »
Breakfast Burritos is one of our favorite camping  dishes. We did these on a camping trip a while back, but with the new campfire cooking section I thought it was a great chance to post them.

You can do these with bulk sausage, ham, bacon or even Spam. Use whatever kind of cheese you like.

This trip we used: Sausage links along with eggs, salsa & sharp American cheese.

The Sausages were put on the Weber to hot-smoke indirect with a foil pouch of Apple Pellets for some smoky goodness.

Later, a dozen eggs whipped up & put in a dutch oven over the campfire.

Add the sausage and a little salsa...

Add the cheese, let it melt... and done!

Spoon into some flour tortillas & serve with some fresh fruit.  These disappeared quickly!

What a great weekend with the family!

I'd go for that in a New York minute!   Looks super.   We all love burritos around here.   OR, as my grandkids call them "burri toes."  LOL
