Pork chops
« Reply #-1 on: June 28, 2012, 03:28:37 PM »
Today I put some pork chops on my smoker after having them rubbed with Blues Hog Dry Rub. They were smoked with cherry wood chunks at about 225F. At the end I seared them over direct heat in the side fire box and glazed them with Blues Hog Original sauce.

The BBQ Scout looks like a CharGriller Super Pro?

It is almost identic with a CharGriller Smokin Pro. BBQ Scout was formerly importer and retailer of CharGriller, but complained about decreasing quality of the actual CharGriller series. So they started to produce them on their own now with improvements on the thermometer, the trays (now in bamboo wood) and the framework.

Man, I was already hungry but that closeup shot just pushed me over the edge.  Very nice Wing Commander!

You seem to have a lot of American BBQ products. Are they available in Germany, or do you order and have them shipped to you?

Good looking Chops!

The Bitburger sure brings back a lot of memories. I was more partial to drinking Aventinus Dunkel Hefe-Weizen
Bacon is the Crack Cocaine of the Food World.

Be careful about calling yourself and EXPERT! An ex is a has-been, and a spurt is a drip under pressure!

There's a pretty variety available inbetween. But a lot of products I see on the pictures here - especially rubs - are not.
