The Culinary Institute of America, that is.   ;)




We stopped there last weekend on our tour of the Hudson River Valley, and I saw these parked outside during what looked like a hands-on grilling class.










Those big gassers were Vikings as well. 

Not sure what they were cooking, but it smelled good!

I saw a couple sites selling them for just under $3200.   :o    But with free shipping.........   :)

As wide open as they have the air intake and vent on that 4th picture down, they are going to need that fire extinguisher. A kamado wide open like that will get screaming hot.

I used to have to wear a hat like that when I worked at denny's when I was 18 and a line cook. Ours were cotton and we would put them on two cans duct taped together and spray the bagezus out of the hat with starch so it stood proudly on my Noggen  ;D I actually liked that job and worked my way up from dishwasher.
