Cook-Air grilled chicken legs

Started with these...





Onto the grill loaded with hickory wood and DEFCON 3...





The rub I used had a lot of sugar and this grill puts off quite a bit of infrared energy due to the heat diffuser plate getting heated by the wood flame so the sugar did scorch a bit...



Plated with tater salad...





The chicken was very moist and delicious. They were done in around 12 minutes.

Now I know that I will need to treat this grill like the big easy and avoid rubs with lots of sugar over longer cooks to avoid the scorching.

I am thinking the chicken would be alot worse off with the sugar. They look pretty darn good to me.  :D :D
