Bone-in Rib Eye
« Reply #-1 on: February 08, 2016, 12:35:28 PM »
I got this big Bone-in Rib Eye on sale...

Trimmed the fat and seasoned with Steak it. Then a 5 hour wait in the fridge in the open air...

Onto the Cook-Air grill loaded with Hickory at DEFCON 5...

I got a real nice crust in just a few minutes per side...

Interior shot...

Looks like your Cook-Air grill does an excellent job of grilling a steak.
Nice.

I know you'll be disappointed if I don't say it...

A ribeye is, by definition, boneless. If it has a bone attached it's no longer a ribeye; it's a rib steak (or maybe a rib roast).

Semantics aside, you done good.

So if my dog eats the bone it is back to a ribeye ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

Mike, whatever it is called, it looks delicious.
