that's huge.  I went to the bbq store the other day.  the primo oval lids took me 2 hands to get it open.  how the h#ll are ppl suppose to open them up (I got some joint issues and arthritis). I did see a big steel keg.  they were cool.  looks like a keg.  I like that there were no ceramic parts to break.  the lid wasn't to heavy either.  I like the vent system on the top and bottom too.  $800 for one and no direct/indirect cooking on it.  they looked cool though.

That XXL looks pretty sweet, but I couldn't imagine how much lump it would go through for a cook.

caught this post from a egghead that contacted his local egghead dealer about the XXL:

This is what I found out.

The reps are saying it will go into production but nobody knows when or what the cost will be yet.

My personal opinion. There still trying to get a feel for how big the interest will be and this product could be killed at any time if they cant get the cost to a place where they feel they will make money Especially if they don't get the orders they hoped for.

BUT, they are pushing it as hard as they can in hope of drawing enough attention so they can pull the trigger.

We will just have to wait and see!!
