Now that Steve has a WSM let's consider splitting the smoker section into Horizonal & verticle smokers.
I know many of you use offset Horizonal smokers , but I love the idiot proof cooking of a vertical smoker ;D

I have the electric 30" CharBroil vertical smoker and love the results I am getting with it. I set it before I go to bed and check it in the morning. I am waking ppl in the middle of the night smelling pork roasts and brisket. Pam ★*˚°。°

Bet your neighbors keep their windows cracked at night when you are cooking Pam!!

We could split the smoker category but a smoker is a smoker....just sayin................. :D

sounds like we need a poll....... 8)

Polls are good - and I encourage any of you to post one on this topic.

But, polls don't tell all of the story. We have bandwidth, and maintenance costs to at least consider if we make major changes ( which a split is not ).

There will be some realignment this weekend on a couple of topics. But I am trying to see the reasoning for splitting the smoker category...? If we already divide our equipment into separate categories based on fuel source - what next? Color? ;D
